Indie publishing is now easy and convenient, and almost always free, with the use of e-books and Print-On-Demand (POD). There are many sales outlets, like Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and others. You can Do It Yourself (DIY) or pay a usually-reasonable fee for someone to create your book for you. There is a learning curve and ramp-up time, and the more computer literate and able you are the better. And then there is the 'problem' of cover art work. But there are free photo and image websites listed below and some cheap or free graphic editing programs, some of them online, so you don't even have to download them. Most importantly: Do not forget to have your book edited by a decent editor. (we can not edit ourselves)
